Out of the Blue Cafe and Kites is a local independent company owned & operated by Peggy and Doug Roselle since 2000. Our mission is to provide excellent, fresh food and quality kites in a unique family atmosphere. All meals are prepared to order and breads, soups, salads and award winning desserts are made in the Brainerd kitchen daily. Though we like to see our customers indulge their sweet tooth, we believe in balance and encourage healthy choices by using all white meat chicken, lean meats, no trans fats, fresh mixed greens and serving fruit as a side unless otherwise specified.
Our special event room will seat 60 or accomodate 90 - 100 for a standing reception.  Our special event menus are customized to meet your needs. 
What's with the kites?  This is a question we hear often.  After collecting kites for years and enjoying the sport of kite flying since childhood, it is a pleasure to be able to share our passion with others.  The cheerful atmosphere created by the kites often causes people share memories of their own kite flying experiences and frequently inspires people to fly again.  You can admire our collection, buy one for yourself or a gift.  
Come dine with us, place an order to go, curl up with a cup of coffee in our cozy corner and use or free WiFi or plan to use our services for your next event.
